The stigma is real, and it shouldn’t be.
In the wake of the tragic loss of our best friend, our group stands united to bring awareness to the challenges associated with mental health and depression. This is why we have decided to partner with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), to ensure your participation and donations go to a meaningful cause.
NAMI seeks to extend the education, support, and advocacy programs of NAMI Massachusetts so that they can reach out to all Massachusetts consumers and their families; improve the public’s awareness and understanding of mental illnesses; and advocate at all levels to ensure that all persons affected by mental illnesses receive, in a timely fashion, the services that they need and deserve.
The Christopher James Loughran Memorial Fund is a federally-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to increasing awareness of mental illness, eradicating its harmful stigmas and improving resources for treatment and suicide prevention.
