About Chris

Nothing quite defined Chris like his smile...

It was big, bright, benevolent and infectious. And it was inescapable. It was one of the reasons people wanted to be around him, all the time. It sucked you in. Whether on the baseball diamond, in the hockey rink, on a golf course, aboard a fishing boat or simply with his friends and family, the joy that he radiated was incomparable.

An avid sportsman, loving fiance, caring son and friend, Chris’ life was filled with passion. He was raised in Framingham, and quickly became a mainstay at Loring Arena and the local baseball fields, amassing an impressive athletic resume that culminated in a Framingham High School ice hockey captaincy and stellar Legion baseball career. He also spent countless hours fishing, admiring and appreciating the natural beauty of New England’s lakes and building a vast community of friends. Along the way, Chris also met the love of his life, Liz. Over the course of years, Chris and Liz cultivated a beautiful relationship and built a home together. His accomplishments, both physical and emotional, were innumerable.

Chris’ strong moral foundation, gregarious demeanor and inimitable sense of humor, however, began at the very beginning - with his parents, Jim and Karen. Their bond was always strong, evident in Chris’ endearing reverence for Karen and his jovial rapport with Jim. Chris embodied the amazing qualities of the two people that raised him. He was their son and best friend.

Chris’ smile was the source of joy in so many people’s lives. Though his life ended too soon, his smile will be indelibly etched in the hearts and minds of everyone he ever met.
